Films
The Documentaries page will show you how to search for this genre of film. Finding fiction films by subject is more difficult since the vast majority of fiction films that are catalogued in the UAB Libraries do not have subjects.
1. In the Search Engine there are several subjects with the form "X in the cinema". So Dones en el cinema (Women in cinema) Homosexualitat en el cinema (Homosexuality in cinema), Emigració i immigració en el cinema (Migrations in cinema), etc. Under these subjects you will find studies (especially books) about those topics and there you can find movie titles that can then be searched in the UAB Search engine by title or author (in this case the director).
2. At the Library. The films on DVD are on the 2nd floor (zone G of this map), arranged alphabetically by the surname of the director. For example Woody Allen's films are at DVD Allen, those of Icíar Bollaín at DVD Bollaín, etc. Some DVD are kept in store rooms.
