The Integrated Global Greenhouse Gas Information System (IG3IS) initiative, under the Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) Programme of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), is collaborating with ICTA-UAB to organize the webinar series on Urban Greenhouse Gas Monitoring, launching on 7 July 2026.
Webinar Series on Urban Greenhouse Gas Monitoring
The webinar series is coordinated by Vanessa Monteiro, Postdoctoral Researcher at ICTA-UAB.
This monthly webinar series is dedicated to providing a platform for leading experts and practitioners to discuss recent advances in the science, methodologies, and practical applications of atmospheric greenhouse gas monitoring in urban environments. It aims to share developments in observational techniques, modelling approaches, and data insights for understanding greenhouse gas fluxes across diverse urban contexts. The series will also highlight real-world examples and case studies from cities worldwide, fostering knowledge exchange and showcasing successful strategies for understanding and managing urban GHG emissions.
