Specialisation in Urban Law

his Diploma is designed to provide specialized training in the regulation and management of land use and urban development. In this sense, it wants to deepen the study of the urban activity of local entities, from the application of classification and qualification techniques, through urban planning through planning, its execution and intervention in the use of land and buildings and the protection of urban legality. This training programme is aimed at staff at the service of local authorities and professionals in law, architecture and economics, among others, who seek to deepen the legal aspects of urbanism. The benefits of the programme include specialisation in a key area of law with high labour demand and increased career opportunities in the public and private sectors, as well as the possibility of contributing to the creation of better managed and more sustainable urban environments. It is an ideal program for those who seek to positively influence the configuration and future of urban environments.

Internships

UAB masters and graduate diplomas may include or facilitate external academic internships in companies or institutions in order to help the student to achieve a level of expertise that facilitates the insertion or promotion in the workplace.

For this study programme non-curricular (optional) internships are possible:

• Non-curricular
  As a UAB student, you have access to the University occupation portal, the Occupability Service, through which you can participate in selection processes for non-curricular practices as well as getting a contract. In both cases, you need to sign up to the Nexus application.
