Course in

The Interpretation of the Natural Heritage course offers the necessary basis in terms of both theory and practice, to carry out guided activities in natural environments, both naturalist and ecotourist guiding and different activities that take place in natural environments centred on the interpretation of the natural heritage.   

This specialisation course will train you to:

• Know the different types of tools and techniques related to the profession of nature guide. 
• Prepare and carry out guided activities.
• Communicate and interpret the natural environment
• Evaluate natural resources to be able to carry out interpretation and ecotourism activities.

This is an enjoyable and practical course which promotes active participation by students in all sessions. More than 70% of the course is practical consisting of classroom and field exercises to apply the theory acquired. To receive a certificate there is an assessment of all the concepts acquired and a field activity. 

Students who pass the assessment can, if they wish, obtain a certificate validated by Interpret Europe, a reference organisation in Europe in the field of heritage interpretation. 

Particularly aimed at working nature guides, and professionals in the tourism and nature sectors (nature guides, culture guides, reporters, forestry agents, natural park agents, and other types of guides and professionals) or entrepreneurs and other people interested in tourism and nature.
