Second meeting of the early stage researchers working group
This session was focused on making improvement suggestions in aspects such as welcome, supervision, training and professional career of young researchers.

Last Wednesday 28th October, the second meeting of the early stage researchers working group took place. During that session, young researchers from several doctorate programmes shared their experiences during this training period. From their comments, critical points to be improved were detected and collaborative solutions to address them were suggested.
Some of the issues covered in the course of this virtual meeting were recruitment, welcome, relations with supervisors, emotional well-being, training and professional career.
The conclusions drawn from this session will boost the implementation of measures to improve conditions of early stage researchers during their PhD.
