The UAB participates in the ECIU Forum in Trento
Over 200 people from the 13 member institutions of the ECIU European Alliance participated in the forum of the ECIU, the UAB's European alliance, which took place at the University of Trento, Italy on 10 and 11 June. The UAB delegation, headed by Vice-Rector of Studies and Quality Ramon Vilanova, was formed by 12 people, four of whom offered different sessions during the forum.

Under the slogan of “Innovation for Sustainable Futures”, the forum brought together students, lecturers, researchers and administrative staff, as well as external agents, to promote collaboration and innovation in higher education and research in an environment of international co-creation.
For two days, participants attended workshops, discussions and sessions that allowed them to explore how collaboration in education and research fosters innovative solutions and generates social impact. They also connected with colleagues from other universities to lay the groundwork for future collaborations, develop new ideas and exchange experiences.
The UAB participated actively with four lecturers offering three of the 23 sessions:

The UAB delegation, headed by Vice-Rector for Studies and Quality Ramon Vilanova, was formed by the institutional coordinator of the ECIU at the UAB, Mireia Galí; Albert Bonillo, professor of the Department of Psychobiology and Methodology of Health Sciences; and five students from the School of Engineering, the Faculty of Communication Studies, the Faculty of Biosciences, and the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology.
