The call to participate in the ECIU University Forum 2026 is now open
The ECIU, the European Alliance of the UAB, has opened registrations to attend as a participant in the ECIU University Forum 2026, which will be held on 16 and 17 June 2026 at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. The call will remain open until 24 February 2026.
The ECIU University Forum is the annual event that brings together the entire ECIU European Alliance community to exchange ideas, share experiences and co-create the future of education and innovation. The 2026 edition, with the theme «Futuremakers: Educating for Impact», focuses on exploring how eductaion can generate a real impact on society.
During the two days that the forum will take place, multiple activities will be developed, such as presentations, workshops and debate spaces, designed to foster international collaboration and co-creation among members of the ECIU community.
The call, aimed at students, lecturers, staff and researchers, will remain open until 24 February 23.59 (CET). Registrations can be processed through the form available on the official ECIU website.
The selection process will take place on each ECIU member university, and those who submitted their candidacy will receive a communication at the beginning of April informing them of the result of the process. Participation in the forum is free of charge for all accepted participants.
In the case of the UAB, a total of three people from the PTGAS group will be selected, whose travel expenses will be covered. The places for lecturing and research staff, as well as students, have already been covered through the previous call for presenting a session.
