New steps in the European CEETNOVA project to promote valorisation of knowledge in European universities
On 5 and 6 November 2025, the partners of the European project CEETNOVA met at the University of Trento, Italy, to continue advancing the development of tools and training content with the aim of promoting the valorisation of knowledge and strengthening the role of universities within European innovation ecosystems.
CEETNOVA (Connecting European Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems through Knowledge Valorisation Ambassadors) is an initative funded by the European Union that aims to promote the valorisation of knowledge by training ambassadors at universities. Within the framework of this project, European universities are working together to transform research results into tangible value for society, thus strengthening innovation ecosystems on a European scale.
In this context, on 5 and 6 November from last year, partners form the University of Stavanger, Norway, Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain, the University of Trento, Italy, and the University of Linköping, Sweden, met at the Univeristy of Trento to hold the second face-to-face meeting of the consortium.
The aim of the meeting was to finish polishing the contents of the ambassador's training and establish collaboration tools and strategies to create a community of practices and share good practices. The meeting also included a visit to the laboratories and innovation spaces of the University of Trento, which facilitated the exchange of practical approaches.
Also worth highlighting is the presentation of the project's objectives and contents, which took place at the Erasmus Higher Education Seminar, held on 26 and 27 November in Bergen, Norway, which helped to strengthen the project's international visibility.
