New Lunch & Learn from ECIU, the European alliance of the UAB: spaces for innovation and experimentation for urban sustainability
This virtual meeting, aimed at all members of the university community, will focus on exploring spaces for innovation and experimentation to promote urban sustainability within the framework of the ULALABS project. The session will be on 21 January, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., via Microsoft Teams.
The session, entitled «Explore Innovation and Experimentation Spaces for Urban Sustainability within ECIU and Beyond», will present how the ULALABS project is working on the creation of a Distributed Living Lab or «lab of labs», for ECIU and its community, with the aim of promoting sustainable urban transformations through challenge-based learning methodologies.
The session will serve to present different types of innovation and experimentation spaces, as well as their role in tackling real challenges and creating transformative mutual learning communities. The upcoming activities and opportunities to participate in pilot programmes which will be developed during the second semester will also be presented. This will focus on the transformation of campuses and urban spaces, the use of emerging technologies and challenge-based processes at city scale.
