New Lunch&Learn by the ECIU, the UAB's European alliance: training opportunities for staff
This online meeting, aimed at all members of the university community, will focus on informing about the ECIU Practice Community (found at the Teacher Hub), in which members from all universities belonging to the European alliance can find training sessions to guide them with challenge-based teaching and learning. The meeting will take place on 21 May from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. on the Microsoft Teams platform.
On 21 May from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. (CET) a new Lunch&Learn session will take place. The event is organised by the European alliance ECIU, of which the UAB is member, and will focus on training opportunities for academic and administrative personnel belonging to the ECIU ecosystem.
The session, entitled "Capacity Building Opportunities for ECIU Staff", will offer a brief but intense introduction to professional growth opportunities within the ECIU sector.
The session will include a presentation of key initiatives such as the Practice Community, a collaborative space formed by professionals of the alliance's member universities in which to share experiences, good practices and knowledge related to challenge-based learning, the framework model under which this methodology is being developed, challenge-based learning in the classroom, and workshops to improve the implementation of this methodology.
This session will be a great opportunity to discover first-hand what is "brewing" at the ECIU in terms of growth, collaboration and learning opportunities for academic and administrative members of the UAB.
