ECIU University offers two extracurricular work placements

Each work placement, one to provide support to corporate communications and the other to implement challange-based learning, will last a total of 366 hours, divided into a 15-hour per week workload. The deadline to apply is 17 July.

The ECIU University at the UAB is looking for a student interested in giving support to corporate communications and promotional activities within the university community. The main tasks will consist in aiding in the management of social networks and digital contents; working on the organisation of events and campaigns; and working on the communication strategy of the ECIU University.

The ECIU University is also looking for a student interested in helping to create challenges in the area surrounding the university, by contacting local stakeholders and lecturers from the UAB. These challenges refer to social, environmental or other types of societal challenges – particularly those linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – that require joint collaborations from the agents in the region and the university community, so that student can analyse them from an interdisciplinary approach and reach a proposed solution. The work placement also include assisting in the design and processing of challenge-based learning (CBL) study plans and related teaching.

Applications for these extracurricular work placements will be open until 17 July and the work placements will begin in September. Each work placement will consist of a total of 366 hours, with a weekly workload of 15 hours, a flexible working schedule (preferably mornings) and a gross monthly salary of €510.
