Services at the UAB campus from 24 December to 6 January

The UAB closes all of its education centres from 24 December 2018 to 6 January 2019. Some services however will be running under special opening hours.

The UAB security services will be working 24 hours a day, every day, and can be reached at 93 581 25 25. The health assistance services will be closed; for any medical emergencies please call the emergency number 112.

The internal bus service will not be operative during these two weeks. For information on how to arrive to the campus, please check the mobility and transport website www.uab.cat/accessibilitat-transports. The post office, Correos, will be open from Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and closed on holidays, on 24 and on 31 December. The Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives will be open from 2 to 6 January from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the Study Hall of the Plaça Cívica will open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from 27 December to 6 January, except for 1 January.

The Users Support of the Computer Services will be available (93 581 21 00, cas@uab.cat) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 27 to 29 December and from 2 to 5 January. With regard to photocopy services, all photocopy machines will be working and the reprography office at the Plaça Cívica will be open on workdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m, except for on 31 December, when it will remain closed. The General Register Office, in the Rectorat building, will be open all workdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (93 581 20 29, registre.general@uab.cat).

Another service that will be open is the Physical Activity Service (SAF) from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on 24 and 31 December, and from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on 27 and 28 December and from 2 to 4 January. It will remain closed on 25 and 26 December and on 6 January.

The only restaurant open will be the Social Sciences' cafeteria from 2 to 4 January from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m, and 5 January, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
