The Bible is an interesting literary monument to visit as it is on the horizon of humanities. With this expression "literary monument" we position ourselves before the biblical text as a historical and archaeological document and also as a linguistic and literary document.

This small exhibition at the Humanities Library presents a teaching activity on the subject "Bible: Origins and Tradition." Naturally, the exhibition makes visible part of its contents, in a propaedeutics divided between classical Philology and Biblical Archeology. The selected pieces represent (more than twenty), therefore, some examples of the cases studied in class.

Collaborators: Óscar de la Cruz (oscar.delacruz@uab.cat), Jordi Vidal (jordi.vidal.palomino@uab.cat), - curators of the exhibition - the staff of the Humanities Library and from the Department of Sciences of Antiquity and the Middle Ages at the UAB (@CAEMdepUAB).

The exhibition can be visited from March 15 to April 30, 2022 in the lobby of the Humanities Library. You can consult the exhibition catalog here.

You can't miss it, we are waiting for you!
