03/02/2022

The Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives hosts the collective photographic exhibition “Jo, pallassa (“I, clown woman”), lent by AFOCER, Agrupació Foto-Cine Cerdanyola-Ripollet.

From the presentation text:

The profession of the clown woman is one of those occupations where the woman, due to being a woman, encounters added difficulties. They are not usually invited to general clown festivals, and in order to make themselves known, they have had to create their own. Still, they do an admirable job through their performances.

The exhibition is divided into five blocks: Making laugh, Hospital clown women, Clowns without Borders, What is not seen and Clarifying concepts.

Visit the exhibition on the ground floor of the Library!
