Audiovisual resources for academic use

Have you ever needed to incorporate audiovisual material (images, music, videos, maps...) into your academic work or educational resources and you didn't know where to find them?

Or maybe you had already found them but didn't know if you could use them?

On our website we have created the page Audiovisual Resources for academic use. You will find lists of repositories with Images (photographs, illustrations, icons...), Music and sounds, Maps and Videos. These repositories are free and open access (with Creative Commons or Public Domain licences). They are arranged alphabetically with links to the licenses or terms of use. It is highlighted in bold when the resources are in the public domain, since this is the most open license.

You will also find general information on copyright that will allow you to use audiovisual resources respecting current legislation. For instance, you have links to the web Intellectual property and open access and to the infographics How to incorporate text and audovisual resources from others and Online available materials and the document Creative Commons licenses recommended in the UAB.
