Seminar Organized: "The Legal Status of Women in Modern Law"

On Tuesday, May 27th at 11:00 h, the seminar “La condición jurídica de la mujer en el derecho moderno” will take place in the C. Campoamor Room of the Faculty of Law.

The event is organized by Stefania Giombini from the Department of Legal History and Institutions (UAB), in collaboration with the Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. The seminar will feature interventions from Marianna Pignata, who is specialising in the history of Medieval and Modern Law, and Roberta Catalano, about Private Law, both professors at the Università degli Studi della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”, who will present parts of their research on the legal role of women in the modern era.
This activity is part of the Erasmus+ Programme and is carried out in collaboration with the aforementioned Italian university. It will provide an excellent opportunity for academic exchange and collective reflection on the topic of women's legal roles in modern law.
