Yesterday, the Faculty of Law hosted a doubly special event: the opening of the 2nd edition of the Master’s in AI and Digital Law and the closing ceremony of the first cohort. A day marked by reflections on new technological challenges in the legal field and by the enthusiasm surrounding a programme that continues to grow.

A very special event took place yesterday at the Faculty of Law to mark the opening of the second edition of the Master’s in AI and Digital Law and the closing of the programme’s first edition.
The event featured speeches by the Dean, Ricard Esteban, as well as the programme directors, Cristina Blasi and Josep Cañabate, and the general coordinator, Santi Robert, who highlighted the growth of the master’s degree and its relevance in an increasingly digitalised legal environment.
We also had the opportunity to hear two prestigious guest lectures:
- Joana Marí, from the Catalan Data Protection Authority
- Alessandro Mantelero, from the University of Turin
Both presented the latest developments in data protection and AI regulation, offering a timely and essential perspective for the sector.
Finally, certificates were awarded to the students who completed the first edition of the Master’s. Congratulations to all for the excellent work.
