Iman El Kabiri, a student at the UAB, has won the first award for a bachelor's thesis in Criminology in Spain

A student from the Faculty of Law at UAB, Iman El Kabiri Ouarqui, has won the SEIC Award for bachelor’s degree students in Criminology with her project: Recidivism: Evaluating the Influence of Pre-incarceration, In-prison, and Post-release Factors.

On October 18th, the student Iman El Kabiri Ouarqui received the first award for the bachelor’s thesis in Criminology in Spain for her thesis project titled Recidivism: Evaluating the Influence of Pre-incarceration, In-prison, and Post-release Factors.

The SEIC Award for bachelor’s degree students in Criminology aims to encourage and promote research in the field of Criminology in a university level, as well as to recognise the work done by the students in their bachelor’s theses in Criminology from various Spanish universities.

This award is organised by the SEIC (Spanish Society of Criminological Research), which shares the same name. This organization is constituted by researchers and academics who work in criminology within the Spanish framework.

The organization was created in 2000 with the aim goal of promoting criminological research and studies in both academic and institutional fields.
