Content Issues in Tourism. An academic journal that promotes debate and critical analysis of key issues related to tourism. It publishes theoretical and applied works aimed at fostering reflection and discussion within tourism studies.
HostelTur. Tourism news for professionals. Updates on hotels, the economy, travel agencies, airlines, and tourism companies.
Leisure and Tourism Collection. A database containing over 300,000 records on research in tourism, hospitality, and leisure. It covers topics such as policy, planning, tourism education and training, travel, sports, hospitality, arts and entertainment, sustainability, recreational activities, and cultural heritage.
Ministerio de Industria y Turismo. Statistics and reports about the spanish tourism prepared by the Ministerio.
Tourism geographies : an international journal of tourism space, place and environment. A leading journal in the social sciences focusing on tourism from a geographical perspective. It analyzes tourism through the lenses of disciplines such as geography, anthropology, sociology, spatial planning, and environmental studies.
Tourism statistics. Recent and up-to-date tourism statistics for all countries and regions of the world, compiled by the World Tourism Organization. It includes data on inbound, domestic, and outbound tourism, as well as tourism industries, employment, and supplementary indicators. All available statistical tables are displayed and can be accessed individually.
World Tourism Organization eLibrary. An interactive database that offers a large number of high-quality publications from the World Tourism Organization. It includes books, journals, and statistics on the most relevant topics in the tourism sector.
World Leisure Journal. The official journal of the World Leisure Organization, dedicated to theory and research on leisure. Its mission is to deepen the understanding of the benefits of leisure for the quality of life, health, and well-being of individuals, communities, and countries.
A digital platform offering 112,000 Spanish-language ebooks (books, journals, and research publications) across all academic disciplines. It features tools to support study and research, such as online reading, downloads, a personal bookshelf, copying and printing options, annotation and highlighting capabilities, bibliographic references, a summary mode, read-aloud functionality, translation into various languages, and more. It includes content from university presses.
A portal primarily focused on the English-speaking world, provided by Clarivate Analytics, which allows users to consult a collection of multidisciplinary bibliographic and bibliometric databases. It enables subject-based searches as well as searches by cited work and/or author, and allows for the consultation of bibliometric indicators (citation counts, h-index, journal impact factor, etc.).
A multidisciplinary database produced by Elsevier that covers nearly 14,000 publications from approximately 4,000 international publishers. It includes references to journals, trade publications, books, web resources, and patents. It offers value-added services such as the creation of bibliographic alerts and access to impact factors, h-indices, etc.
A search tool that allows you to locate academic documents such as books, theses, articles, or specialized journals. Google Scholar can connect to the UAB Digital Library to access the full text of articles to which the university subscribes.
A bibliographic portal that compiles Hispanic scientific literature in the fields of the humanities, law, and social sciences. It indexes journal articles, monographs, doctoral theses, conference proceedings, and reviews, providing access to tables of contents, bibliographic references, and/or full text.
Portal for the databases of the CSIC (Spanish National Research Council). A multidisciplinary bibliographic resource that collects and disseminates primarily research articles published in Spanish scientific journals. It replaces ICYT, IME, and ISOC—the former CSIC databases. It has not been updated since 2022.
