Ads from a specific brand

1. In the search engine.  To search for television ads go to advanced search. In the first drop-down select Subject and type "publicitat". In the second drop-down write the specific brand you are looking for. Finally as a type of material select "Video/Film". In the image you can see how to look for Cuétara brand ads:

The result of the search will be DVDs located on the 2nd floor of the Communication Library  or in the library's storage rooms.

To search for radio ads do the same search but as a type of material choose "Sound recordings"

2. At the Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives you will find TV commercials on the 2nd Floor on the topographic DVD 659.1 [a single commercial] and DVD 659.1 (082) [a compilation of commercials]

3. UAB Databases. Adforum is a large international database with ads in all types of media (but especially television) since 2000. Extensive search options (geographical, date, agency, brand, etc.)

If you are looking for radio ads, use the search engine to locate the call number.

If you are looking for print ads, in addition to using the search engine, the following will also be useful:

• Advertising journals. In journals such as CTRL : control & estrategias, Control or Anuncios you can find specific ads.
• UAB Databases: Adforum has ads in all types of media (but especially television) from more than 110 countries since 2000. Extensive search options (geographical, date, agency, brand, etc.)

4. At the Internet

• In the page Virtual advertising galleries you will find some databases and webs where you can search by brand
• Anuncios del año. Yearbook of the magazine Anuncios. Presents all campaigns performed in a year
