The UAB participates in the 10th edition of the Unirun race
Miriam López and Marçal Roses were the first UAB runners to cross the finish line in their respective categories in the tenth edition of the Unirun, the University Race.
The Unirun race, organised by the sports entity Esport Català Universitari, spanned a total of five kilometres along the coastline of the districts of Sant Martí in Barcelona (start and finish at the Parc del Fòrum). The UAB participants who obtained the best scores are Miriam Lopez in the women's category and Marçal Roses in the men's category.
Twelve Catalan universities participated in the Unirun race, which is an event that brings together sports and solidarity and is very successful (registrations were sold out five weeks before the race). This year there were 5,000 registrations in total, and 431 people registered on behalf of the UAB: 198 men (45%) and 233 women (54%).
The race received funding from the General Secretariat for Sport and Physical Activity and the Barcelona City Council, and was sponsored by Adidas and organised by Gaudium Sports.
