The conference aims to be a meeting point for researchers and groups to meet and explore common interests in order to create a network with a multidisciplinary approach in which Artificial Intelligence acts as a common axis.
Programme:
9 a.m. Presentation of the conference by Vice-Rector for Innovation, Transfer and Entrepreneurship Rosa M. Sebastián as an initiative to create a multidisciplinary AI interest group.
9:15 a.m. Presentation of attendants
9:45 a.m. Presentation of the EU's legal framework on AI by Faculty of Law Dean Susana Navas.
10:15 a.m. Presentation of three AI initiatives at the UAB:
Fernando Vilariño (Department of Computer Science): Chair in Cruïlla d’Intel·ligència Artificial en Música i Arts.
Pilar Dellunde (Department of Philosophy): Artificial intelligence and robotics to improve the quality of life of people.
Pol Llonch (Department of Animal and Food Science): CowTalk: listening to cows with the help of Artificial Intelligence to assess their well-being.
